Могилевский погром 1654 г. и религиозная политика русских властей в период русско-польской войны 1654–1667 гг.
Аннотация
The article deals with the problem of conflicts and contacts between Muscovites, Ruthenians, Poles and Jews during Polish-Muscovite war of 1654–1667. The Russian authorities began war against Polish-Lithuanian Common-wealth under strongly marked religious rethorics with evident anti-Catholic and anti-Uniate connotations. The war has been accompanied by several acts of religious violence. There are two general plots in the paper: the first one is the history of Mogilev pogrom of 1654 and the second one is a difficult religious coexistence in Wilno of 1655–1660. Situation of Non-Orthodox depended on the position of central and local Russian military authorities; attitudes of local Christian population must be kept in mind especially when Jews are in question.
