Abstract

The article will focus on the study of the childfree phenomenon in the Russian-speaking community of Israel. The decision to opt out of parenthood is a very personal topic that requires both monitoring and establishing a trusting relationship with informants. Therefore, the main task was to conduct a study among three or two generations of individual families and try to determine what factors may have influenced the decision to have or not have children (both in the social field of the countries of Exodus and Israel). The next task was to identify possible changes that occur with the older generation when their own children prefer later parenthood, or refuse to give birth at all.
