Abstract

The article is devoted to the opinion of N.B. Gersevanov, a publicist from Ekaterynoslav, on the “Jewish question”. Analyzing the litograph “Adventures of Novgorod resident Fedora Ivanovna” (1859) and polemics concerning his work “About the national character of the Jews” (1859) the author points out the racist basis presented in Gersevanov’s works.
