Reprehensible sexual intercourse as a source of conflicts

Abstract

Different texts on the Jewish-Christian contacts examined in the article (as rabbinical responses, as well as of folkloric provenance ones) seem to indicate that the spiritual leaders of the Jewish and Catholic communities symmetrically negatively appraised sexual contacts between Jews and non-Jews, seeing in them a threat to their respective faith.
